Post'Em: Completing Additional Actions

The Post'Em Tool is a way for instructors to provide detailed text feedback to students by uploading a single CSV file. Your CSV file can contain multiple columns of feedback and you can upload as many different CSV files as you wish. This article will go over how to complete various additional actions to your uploaded Post'Em feedback.

Viewing an Uploaded Post'Em Feedback File

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "View" from the menu.
  1. A table will open and display:
    1. Login ID
    2. Last Name
    3. First Name
    4. The feedback content uploaded for that user in this Post'Em file
    5. Last Checked by the student

Edit a Post'Em Feedback Title

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "Edit Title" from the menu.
  1. Type the "New Title" in the text box and then click the "Submit" button.

Upload a New Post'Em Feedback Version

Uploading a new Post'Em Feedback file version will overwrite and replace the existing file. Previous versions will not be saved.

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "Upload New Version" from the menu.
  1. Click the "Choose File" button under the "Postem CSV" header and select your new CSV file from your computer.
  2. If the feedback is ready to be released to student immediately, check off the "Release feedback to participants?" option.
  3. Once selected, click the "Upload" button.

Download a Post'Em Feedback File

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "Download" from the menu.
  1. A CSV file of your Post'Em feedback will begin to download to your computer.

Unrelease a Student Post'Em Feedback File

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "Unrelease" from the menu.
  1. The Post'Em feedback will be made unavailable to students and the "Released" column will display "No."

Delete Uploaded Post'Em Feedback

  1. In the Post'Em tool for your course, click the "Actions" button drop down for the feedback you uploaded and select "Delete" from the menu.
  1. Click the "OK" button on the browser pop-up box that opens asking if you are sure you want to delete the Post'Em feedback file.
