IgniteAI Discussion Summary creates quick overviews of discussion threads for instructors, highlighting key points, questions, and themes.
Discussion Summaries are only visible to instructors.
- Navigate to the course where you want to enable IgniteAI Discussion Summary and click on "Settings" in the Course Navigation menu on the bottom-left side..
- Click on the "Feature Options" tab across the top.
- Find the feature option called "IgniteAI Summaries for Discussion".
- You can use the search bar at the top to help you locate this option.
- In line with the "IgniteAI Summaries for Discussion" option, click on the red X and select "Enable". The red X will become a green check mark to denote that your changes are saved.
- If there is a red x on the "IgniteAI Summaries for Discussion" line, then the tool has not yet been enabled. If there is a green check mark, the tool is already enabled.
- Navigate to a Discussion in your course. You will now see an "Open Summary" button in the bottom-right corner of the discussion prompt.
