Completing Your Canvas Profile (Student Guide)

Updated on

Canvas allows participants to display profile photos, biographies, and links on their profiles. These settings can be configured on the User Profile page. Profile information is visible to all other participants in the same current-term Canvas courses.

In Canvas, user profile settings and user account settings are modified in different locations. To make changes to your pronouns, language, time zone, linked services, Canvas feature options, and contact information, go to User Settings.

Note: Although your pronouns and linked services may be configured to be displayed on your profile, these changes must be made on the User Settings page and cannot be made on the User Profile page.
