How do I create folders in my course "Files" area?
By Default, you are given 1 Gig of space within your Canvas course. For any reason you feel you need more space, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we are happy to assist you.
Create a New Folder
1. In Course Navigation, click the Files link.
2. Click the "+ Folder" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Under the files list, a text entry field will appear. Type in the name of your folder and hit the "Enter" or "Return" key on your keyboard.
4. Your new folder will now appear in your files list. Click on the folder to open it, and on this screen, you can begin uploading new files.
